i used Sun One Studio 4 when i started Java...can't find a single site where i can download it....anyone know where i could get my hands on this

You might want to try NetBeans too. It is also an open source IDE, the basis for the Sun IDE's and is considered as good / better than Eclipse.

Supports J2SE, J2EE and J2ME.
