Is anyone familiar with the Board of Education BASIC Stamp Microcontroller program put out by Parallax? I have a few question about a program I'm writing that deals with distance detection using Infra-Red Sensor arrays and photo-resistors. Let me know.

ok, last year i went to the trinity firefighting robot competition using a basic stamp board. it sucks. the language is very limiting, it is wierd to use, and it makes you look like a noob. basic is awful, there are a lot of better boards out there like the OOPic board. you can program that thing in Visual Basic syntax, C++, BASIC and others. the IR sensors should be easy to read output from. look it up
