I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right Forum or not, but here's my question
First and foremost, I only know the basics of programming, which could be my whole problem anyway.
I work for a small business that sells machines.
I'm trying to come up with a database that I can track which machines were bought by which company.
I am currently attempting to create one through Access 2010, but I am not really getting anywhere with it.
Each machine has a serial number, purchase date, and installation date specific to each customer.
I want to be able to add/change/delete info when needed, but I dont want the other employees to, but they need to be able to search the records by
Customer, manufacturer, model, serial, installation date, purchase date, purchase order #.
My question is, Is access right for me, or can someone reccommend some software that would be what i'm looking for?
