learning?

If you know c++ then php is a snap. Just keep a link to the php manual on your desktop/bookmarks (http://www.php.net/manual/en/index.php) and code away until you get stuck and need help finding a function to do a certain task. Look'er up and go back to coding.

I didnt word that correctly. I started to learn c++ then my book got stolen. What i am trying to say getting my feet wet in c++ seemed alot easier than php. So I am asking If anyone has that book, likes it, or reccomends a different book.

Sorry to bump an old post, but if you want a really good book to learn PHP with, try PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson (ISBN: 0-672-32525-X).
