First off, let me say that I'm not doing this to be illegal. I have several blu-Ray DVDs that I'd like to copy to my WHS box for easy access to my Samsung TV.
So, does anyone know of a free (or inexpensive paid) product that can decrypt Blu-Ray DVDs to a hard drive for play back?

Secondly, all of my devices access my server through a wireed Gigabit LAN (obviously). Can you play ripped Blu-Ray video through a LAN connection or does it have to output through a video connector to be played? (I'm thinking about the issue with HDCP-capable hardware). Can this be done without the need for an HDCP-capable video card, or having to output through a video card, but through a LAN connection?

How are others doing it?

MakeMKV will work while the program is in beta.

Unfortunately, I do not know of much software to decrypt Blu-Ray. DVDFab works great, but is not free.

Slysoft is awesome, even for just watching your own as it makes them much less annoying. Just do not rip off netfix or rebox, got it. It cost, but works as promised.

Slysoft has fixed disks for me that were unplayable in my older dvd player as I also have a pc connected to my TV that I use for movies and netflix streaming. Seems that studios are so creative about their DRM that they mess up the disk for us honest folks, this software fixes that.
