So after updating Songbird to 1.10.1, Build 2160, my .wma playback was hooped. (won't play the file, just sits at the beginning of the song) Previous versions I've had no problems with Songbird whatsoever. Tried to "Google it" and found others with the same problem on the same version (as of this writing still the current version) but no solutions. So what I did to fix it was go into "Tools" - "Options" - "Add-ons" and DISABLED the "Windows Media Playback" add-on! How that gets Windows Media files to work again I don't know. Oh, and for the record, my .wma files were just ripped files from CD, and had no protection. (oh, and am now ripping to MP3 instead ;) )

I would figure most people would rip to MP3s. Well you live and you learn.
