I love my ocz 60 gig drive the speed is unreal. I installed win 7 64 bit on it and a game or two and on the hdd I install all my programs and games, music that I can the problem is that windows like to install to the c: drive by default and if the installer doe not give me the option it goes on the c drive. Is there a way to set windows to stop doing this and install to the d drive by default. I am even considering installing a silverston hddboost but to do this I need to move all files to the hdd and wipe the ssd. A good program for moving files would be helpful or simple instructions on setting windows to defalt installs to d drive would be great.
THANKS!!

From my experience, only MS apps send stuff to C:/ by default. Most applications, even dated, allow us to pick where it goes. It should be C:/ though or what's the point? The Documents part is what matters. Programs don't take up a lot of space. What may hang over is the Users directory and it's defaults.

Music? Point it to another drive with a right click. It's Win7...it's there, you can do it, and we just struggle with stuff written for XP and prior. My Documents aren't on C...yours don't have to be either. Put them where you want, and show Windows what you're thinking.
