Last Summer I purchased Sony’s
Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10. It has far exceeded my expectations (and current ability) for video editing.
Recently, though, I have run into an interesting situation. When editing 25 minute .avi files (TV shows I’ve recorded) the audio falls out of sync with the video. I find this strange as the original .avi plays flawlessly on my computer.
I have found a simple yet irritating workaround for this – I start the ‘Vegas’ application, then the video I want to edit. I then close Vegas without saving changes. I restart Vegas and reintroduce the previous .avi file. After editing, the final rendered edit then plays flawless.
For those of you that use ‘Vegas’, have you seen this situation and if so, what are your thoughts?
