Ok so here is the deal. I have one TV on one wall and on the other side of the same wall in another room I have another TV hooked to my U verse box... They are both HDMI wide-screen LCD TV's. Can I just use a regular HDMI splitter? or do I need a powered one Maximum length from the splitter to either television is 1ft

As long as you research the splitter to make sure there are no HDCP issues a standard splitter will be fine.

How are you going to control the box?
