Considering that NIS 2010 is pretty damn lightweight (especially by Norton standards) and it the defragger only runs after several minutes of the system being idle i'm not really sure why a company adding a feature to a product is a bad thing, especially since you can turn it off if you really have a problem with it. If NIS wants to defrag my system while it scans im certainly not going to complain about it.
