After hitting it several times with a sledge hammer, it looks like it is pretty much working as designed. It was annoying having to register the thing on the Cisco site just to down load software updates (which appear to have no affect on it), and it was annoying waiting for the thing to reboot three times after resetting it and never taking the new password.
This mind you, when the thing decided that the 13th or 14th press of the reset switch would actually bring it back to the "default factory settings". The specification page indicating that it has 64 mb of memory and 8 mb of flash memory should have been a red flag, this was an accident waiting to happen?
Now then, you might not be making hilarious jokes about the President or members of Congress, and your router might work fine, nothing against Cisco or anything, I just won't be buying their products anymore.
