 Post subject: Dell Tech Support - Surprisingly Great Experience!

The power button on my Dell 2407WFP display broke, and it was rotating in the housing, meaning that it took a lot of work to try and get it into the right position to where I could turn on/off the monitor. Called Dell up, and after maybe 25 minutes of talking to various people (I was on hold for no more than 2 minutes overall!), they shipped out a replacement overnight, and it's even the HC model, which apparently has more vibrant colors. Needless to say, I'm very impressed after hearing all of the horror stories of Dell tech support.

PS. The new monitor works great, and the colors actually freak me out somewhat. In a good way though.

Awesome to hear! I always have a good experience with Dell too!

Nice of them to over night it to you, I've never heard of them shipping out the replacement first though for anyone who isn't a premier partner.

When my hard drive in my HP laptop died they offered to ship the replacement drive before I sent them the dead one. I had to give them a credit card number though.
