Maximum PC

Well after years and years of being faithful to Microsoft; I've just plain decided that SUCK!!! I have been running Vista for over a year and I actually don't have any probs with Vista; But I do have some serious problems with MS Outlook 2007.

Okay, the eye candy is delicious to look at and I like the new interface, but come one, every other time I click on the outlook icon I find myself hitting the all too familiar cntl+alt+del and ending the task that didn't fully close the last time that I pressed the "X". So I've found myself going back to Mozilla Thunderbird, but still would like to have a full featured email client like Outlook, but then find myself in the situation of not being able to sync my WM 6.1 phone with other calendar's. So I've also been very highly considering switching from my WM phone to a blackberry to avoid those problems.

Anyway, venting over.

It's probably more correctly stated "not perfect" vise "sucks". Thunderbird just has different quirks for different folks too.

OpenOffice is the same way. The price for both OO and TB are just very attractive and we deal.

MS may be trying to get us on the nipple though....but that's conspiracy theory. They have a new Outlook ready, so are they crippling the old ones to force updates for cash? Some are stating the Win7 RC is worse for them than Beta too.

Bait and switch is a good marketing tactic. I'm on the fence here. I don't use MS office or outlook if I have a choice. And I do. And the choice is free vs paying. I'm biased then.
