After many years at Delphi forums that I discovered via the Commport I'm calling it quits! For the last three days I could not log on to Delphi. I thought they were down again. I decieded to contact them via the only way I knew, via tos@. This is what I sent.

Subject: Can't log on!

If Delphiforums is down again for this long please refund me and drop my account to basic. There's nothing on your site and none of my forums or host forums is working.

Thankyou!

This is what I recieved.

Delphi Forums is not down. The problem is that we restricted your account after seeing some very abusive e-mail you sent through our system. If you will agree to avoid such activity, we will open your account again.

This is my reply to them.

Subject: RE: Can't log on!

Hi, I have not sent ANY abusive e-mail thought your system. I have received many abusive e-mails though Delphi Forums. I never reply to them because I don't want anybody getting my e-mail address. I will change my password. If this happens again you have a inside problem. Here's the last one. Do you have a phone number I could talk to someone about this?

50.

Do you have a phone number I could talk to someone about this? I'm not very happy that no one contacted me.

Looks like that place is going down hill again.

Good thing MPC started their own forum.

Someone hijacked your account and you blame them?

I'm willing to be that the hijack had nothing to do with Delphi .. and if I were you, I would quickly disconnect your PC from the 'net, scan for viruses, trojans and keyloggers and ensure the security of your system.

Once you are *positive* your PC is clean, go back online and change all of your passwords.

Before you do that, though ... if you do any sort of internet banking, or have used your CC online, I would check your accounts and ensure that no one is using them.

If you are not *positive* your PC is clean ... go to a friend's PC (whom you trust) and change all your passwords there.

It sounds to me like you've been owned.

I'll bet your password was "password" huh.

Its no fault but your own if your account was hacked over there. Especially if you have a pointless password like the one above.

P.S. Stop using your Delphi account to surf the pr0n and the problem will take care of itself.

We have given you the benefit of the doubt and restored your account.
Considering that STARSSSS (one of many names he has used) is involved,
we
are investigating the possibility that the abusive message we were
sent,
supposedly from you, was a very clever forgery. We are sorry for the
trouble
this has caused you, and we have added a week to your expiration date
to
compensate.

Thanks! This moron has been a pain in the forums there. His fellow right wingers don't even like him. It doesn’t help that Delphi doesn’t verify e-mails addys like here. He has ton's of user names and Delphi does little about him like report him to his ISP. I asked for his IP but they won't give it to me. Next time he threatens me I will report him to my local PD.

He's a nut from the political forms there. He's been banded under ever user name. He think anyone that don't think like him should be dead! I respect repubs but this one is a right-wing-nut.

Trust me......

If Delphi found him to be a rea nusance, they would block his IP address(s). They can do that. I know from personal experience thanks to our master and commander here. Of course, that can be worked around so its only a temp fix, unless the guy is intarweb retarded.
