How long did you wait in between responses?

If over 24 hours, they suck.

If you bought from Newegg have you tried RMA"ing from there? (If you are RMA"ing).

You can find their RMA form Here.

You may also want to check out their Live Chat (during normal business hours) under the Support>Live Chat section of the site.

Yes. I have waited over a week since my latest one. I waited at least 5 days between each of them. The problem is that I found that some RAM I bought a year and a half ago was counterfeit. Newegg wants to let corsair somehow inspect it and give it a case number before they will let my RMA it.

If I may ask, how did you determine that it is counterfeit?

After almost two weeks, they have finally given me an RMA

About how I found it was counterfeit, using CPU-Z, in the SPD section, I found that the serial numbers of the two sticks were different. On started with a VS, the other with the proper CMX. And its not like these were purchased by a disreputable retailer, they were from newegg. What needs to happen now is for newegg to refund me, or at least give me a credit, s when I bought this RAM, it was $98(i know, lol now)

Check your title. You're talking shit about Crucial.

Corsair is not Crucial at all
. Are you posting Corsair issues in Crucial forums too?

Aside from being 'counterfeit' was the RAM bad, or was it running just fine???

What you can expect:
> you may receive a replacement stick, but if you do, it WILL be a refurbished stick of RAM in place of the 'counterfeit' stick, & only after Corsair determines that it is indeed counterfeit, which may take quite some time. If it is counterfeit, they have very little chance of recouping any costs, & will want to make sure that you aren't the counterfeiter.

> Almost no possibility of refund. Face it, you didn't buy it last week, or even last month, you're talking over a year & a half ago. Unless you purchased extended coverage at the time of purchase, you're 100% out of pocket on this one, & even if you did purchase extended coverage, it would only cover replacement, not refund. 90% of the time, Refunds are first 30 days only, which is pretty standard wherever you go. Refunds beyond 30 days are done on case by case basis & 99.99% of the time are done as "store credit" & are based on current retail value of the product.

Cartman says: I do what I want!

Just checking in on the dog pound. And what I find, is that you guys bitch about companies that aren't at fault. You started this errantly, Crucial sucks, can edit it at any time, but don't.

So you need people to control your behavior? Edit your first post, change the title (finally), and stop ragging on folks that aren't to blame.

My Jeep sucks. I hate chevy so much....
