No, that's not how it works, Queenof1. It only works that way, if it's been sent to your area, you were ahead of someone else, and you also had an opening for them to send you the disc. It's a pain sometimes, I know that, even just living in IN, but I myself also started mostly watching movies via my X360, using my netflix account. I tend to be able to take better advantage of it that way, and some movies are ONLY available via instant play. You can miss some really good ones if you don't use that. In fact, I get to catch up on missed episodes of Heroes and CSI: Miami through that option. I will agree, however, that their regional practices are ridiculous. The other consideration you have to give, is that there are a lot of morons that screw the discs up, and we responsible people have to wait for netflix to get replacements, if they ever can. Some discs can't be replaced after a while. It's just a ginormous Box Office Video / Blockbuster chain, albeit with way better pricing.
