See, where I live, now there's only Best Buy or the Internet left for PC parts after CompUSA closed. We've never had Fry's.

Well, consider yourself lucky.

Where I live, we have Wal-Mart or Staples  . Other than that, it's all online shopping.

Ouch.

That is major suck.

But then again, why would you want to go shopping when you could buy online anyhow??

Speed. I am willing to pay a bit more if I can get something, especially if it is a failure and I need it *now*.

Where does one order a failure anyway? Does it cost much?

I always find mine on street corners.

circuit city was always overpriced. and I really didn't like it when one of those firedog guys talked down to me. hey its not my fault he didn't know what DDR2 800 was

anyway we still have CompUSA around here and there prices are actually good now, a nice alternative when you cant wait 3 days for shipping

Well, to make myself look like a total douche, I'd forgotten all about Staples and Wal-Mart... and I've bought from them, too, just not recently.

I hit the Circuit city down here yesterday. 10% off of already really high prices was not conducive to me spending any money.

Yeah, I stopped by the one a few miles from where I'm staying. No wonder those assholes are going out of business.

I live in a great place, we have several Fry's locations. I can also order online with Directron and then swing by on the way to work to pick up my order, it's 6 miles from where I work. :D
