God, I must be slow. I still don't get the point of why you would want to suspend service.

"The point of temporarily suspending the line is so that you can keep the number active and sot that you do not have to cancel the line."

Doesn't not suspending the service and paying the bill do the same thing?

Most Cell phone companies charge a smaller fee for suspending service, there are lots of reasons to suspend service.

1. You're traveling for a long period of time where your carrier doesn't offer service

2. You're in the military and are being deployed.

3. You lost your job and want to keep the number and save money

4. You're grounding a child that decided to join multiple text messaging/ring tone/game subscription services.

Perhaps you missed the part in that long chat log where the CSR told yomanwill that suspending his account will not change his monthly service charges.

In other words, suspending his account costs him exactly the same thing as not suspending his account.

I suspect that the CSR was a brainless dolt, but this is stating the obvious.

ah I did miss that part, However from past experience I do know that sprint charges 6 dollars a month for a "vacation plan". The csr should have known that.
