OK so i bought the video card ati radeon x1650 pro 7 months ago and i was having some troubles with it playing anything 3d so after days of not knowing how to fix the problem, i emailed tech support and was told after 3 more days of waiting for a complete response they said my 1 year warranty is over???? I told them when i bought it and i also forwarded the receipt to them and they still don't believe me, this has happened to a couple of other people with various ATI/ AMD Products!!!

Comments like this should be in the Dog Pound.

So that's where it's going.

Did you give them a serial number off the card when you wanted to use the guarantee? They can tell if it is still covered that way and I would call them on the phone and explain what is going on, have your parent there as well to press the point home when you bought it and you want it fixed.

Nasty

There's one company that has a good warranty on ATI products: Visiontek.
Always check the warranty on the things you buy, and stay away from 1-year warranties. If the company who makes a product doesn't expect it to work much more than a year, then neither should we.
