Bought an Athlon64 System from someone on the [H]ard forum. They're in Canada and sent it Canada Post. They told him it would be 3-5 Business Days. Anyone else see anything wrong with this picture?

I understand things take a while when coming from another country, but if they knew that it was going to take this long they shouldn't have said 3-5 days. It's also ambiguously stated that it's "Out for Delivery" for the past 8 Days. How about some details.... Like where the package currently is? The only thing I can gather from that is that it's here in the US.

/resumes impatiently waiting for new system

***edit***
Ok, After some investigation it looks like it's USPS's fault. Not Canada Post's. So, my apologies to Canadians everywhere. :)
And a big FUCK YOU to USPS.

Once it leaves the Canada Post system and entered USPS domain, they can't really track it.

USPS is just as 'bad'. They lied to me on how long it would take my package to arrive when I shipped some RAM to Canada back in October. It took about 2+ weeks, not 3-5 business days.

Aha! I was wondering how that worked. Kinda figured it would go to USPS. I wonder if I can use that tracking # on their site? I'll have to give it a whirl.

The thing I don't get is, I usually have good luck with USPS. :(
Dammit.

Ok, I just entered that # on USPS's site. It does work. The fuckers said that they attempted delivery on the 6th and left a notice.

BULL SHIT

1.) I haven't seen ANY notices
2.) Why haven't they attempted a second delivery?
3.) It says they tried to deliver at 8am. My lazy ass mailman doesn't get to our house 'till at LEAST 4PM.

So, I'm gonna call USPS and bitch. Assholes.

USPS? Isn't that like kind of a branch outfit of UPS? Same tactics, I see. Lie about when they get there and never show up again.

National postal systems are a stale relic of the past. Time to shut them down.

Hey, that' s just for Low-dollar Items. :P

I *did* have instructions to allow roomate to sign for it and I have 2 roomates one of which I KNOW was there that day.

(Inside joke) Perhaps he's pissed because he knows about my other roomate 'assaulting' a postal employee.

Well, I called them and will be picking it up this afternoon. They said they'd let me use my work ID to pick it up since I don't have a DL, State ID or Passport. Can't friggin' wait! :D
