Here's a thumbs up for Staples, they've changed their rebate submissions for some items!
Staples wrote:
Easy Rebates-
No clipping!
No Mailing!
No hassles!

We've made submitting rebates a snap. (Well, a click, actually.) That's because most products with rebates at StaplesĀ® are eligible for online submission*.

Enter all your rebate information quickly and easily at StaplesEasyRebates.com. We'll keep you posted on your rebate status with emails at every step. Then sit back, relax and we'll send your rebate by mail.

And it's easy to find Easy Rebate products. Just look for the phrase "Easy Rebate" or the easy rebate icon

I did this a few weeks ago, I haven't gotten my rebate yet, but liked the fact that I didn't have to mail anything in. Wish others would follow!

Thats better but I still would prefer they just set the price where they can turn a profit without the rebate scam.

Long time ago, I worked at Staples.
If you kick up enough fuss, they'll give you the rebate and handle it themselves (if at all). All about customer satisfaction, the suckers...
