Ok, normally I have absolutely no problems with this company but...Jesus fuckin' christ, it gets pretty fuckin' frustrating when you're trying to piece together a system and it keeps losing everything in your goddamn cart. :x

I clicked on the 'suggestions' box to see what they say, and it pretty much says to enable cookies. Well guess what... Cookies are enabled. This has happened to me using Firefox 1.0PR on Linux AND Crazybrowser using Windows.

To top all that off, it seems like a lot of shit is sold out. Kinda hard to piece together wishlists when you can't add sold out items.

I guess this time I'll have to open up Word and C&P everything so it doesn't get lost.

What'cha thinkin' of getting?

ATM, I've got my boss asking me to spec out 5 PC's for our dept. 5 PC's for 'loaners' and a Gaming computer for himself.
Then, another person in our Marketing Dept. wants me to spec out a System for her home business.

So, that's why I was a little miffed when it kept losing everything. :\

One of these: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 166&depa=1

Sucks that it's not working for you, that must be a huge pain.

That's a nice board. I would recommend getting one of these and this to go along with it. I bought one of those boards for my mom, and right out of the box the Northbridge fan was buzzing. I was building it for her B-day, so I didn't have time to RMA it.

Other than that, it's an excellent board.

As for newegg's site, I ended up just adding everything to wishlists and pressing the 'Update list' button everytime I added a part.

That's an excellent idea, I don't like the idea of a noisy chipset.

So, anyone know how to share your wish list?

They don't give unique urls? I suppose you could goto file - save page or print screen but those are a bit of a pain.

You just want specific people to look at it, or is public viewing fine?

First, on the top right-hand corner, there should be an Icon that says 'My Account' Click on that and log on.

In that same 'My Account' page, click on 'View Wish list'.

It will display all of your lists, as well as any public wishlists. Here, you can Email the list to specific people, or you can choose to share it publicly.

Thank you TWballs, I'll give that a try. I want to be able to view my wish list from any computer.

shit- it didn't do what I wanted it to. It was supposed to email me a copy, but it didn't. I also lost my whole wish list.

Don't anyone else try it- something must be wrong with newegg's site

:) I know how that is. Speaking of which, I need to go down to the cafe and get some. I forgot to brew some at home.

As for the wishlists, glad to see you didn't lose it. I don't seem to have any problem with the Wishlists, just the shopping cart.:(

I shot an email to 'em... I was quite a bit more polite about it than I was in my first post, but I was frustrated at the time I wrote that. ;)

Hopefully, they'll get this resolved.

tw im going to turn you on to a mostly unknown local company that is very competative in pricing, if they have what you want. they are fairly new, they also hand deliver in the bay area, the owner jumps in the truck and brings it to you, how cool.

encore strategies is the name, antioch, is where they hide.

I assume this is the site?

Looks good. Prices seem to be within a few dollars of Newegg (I compared the prices of a Hitachi 80GB drive and an Athlon 64 2800+ OEM).

Unfortunately, I don't qualify for free delivery, but if they can ship as fast as next day, I'd be willing to pay them for their time.

Thanks, I may have a new place to order from.:)
Locally, I usually go to Central Computers. I haven't had any problems with them, but they don't always have what I want.
