Maximum PC

For years this company was known as a shady company with terrible lines. I went with them anyway as Internet connections here can be fairly pricey (it's not uncommon to see a 6mb dsl connection for $40+)

These guys offered a 10mb connection for $32.

For a few months I had pretty bad ping times and every night between 8-10pm I would have a lot of page timeouts and average speeds of 2-5mbps depending on the day/time.

The company acknowledged the problem and stated "we're working on it!"

Well.. 3 weeks ago I came home from vacation and I noticed the Internet connection was quite zippy. I did a speed test. HOOOOLY DIFFERENCE, BATMAN.

Test after test I got 9.5-9.7 mbps every time! 3 weeks later I have been doing "spot checks"... my slowest speed so far that I've found is 7.8mbps during prime time. pingtest.net shows I have an "A" quality line (up from "F" before I went on vacation)

Kudos to this company for acting on their complaints!
