I just wanted to toss in my 2 cents about Epson.
I recently purchased an Epson r200 printer just for the fact that it prints directly to cd.
I love this feature of the printer and the quality is pretty dang good.
well I wanted to check for updated software "Epson Print CD" (yeah original/creative name right?) no where to be found on the website, not even the current version.
The original reason that I was checking is I was hoping that they had fixed a minor problem, it won't let you shrink the hub print area below 20mm and that leaves an ugly white ring, aprx 2-3 mm, at the spindle.
well I wrote Epson and explained the problem and asked if there was a work around, maybe a config file or something.
An also where is the software located on the website.
Well the first guy that responded had no clue, so I wrote back and the second guy that responded at least gave it a good try by pointing me to http://www.epsondevelopers.com/devtools.jsp
at least gave it a good go.
But no one could tell where I could go to DL the software!
so I give them good marks for customer support, but crap for program support.
like I said, just my 2 cents
