SonicWall can rot in the dog house these days, for absolutely horrid outsourced customer service as well as an apparant apathy for owners of last-gen products (such as the very popular SOHO3 and TELE3 firewalls).

Sonicwall has introduced a slew of firmware upgrades that are woefully bug-ridden. Ever firmware release 6.6 and later (which includes 6.6.0.2, 6.6.0.6 as well as a special 6.6.0.8 pre-release version to correct gross logging bugs of 6.6.0.6) has major problems, including the inability to mail logs (when full, the logs are cleared rather than e-mailed). 6.6.0.6, the latest public release which has not been updated for months now, has ridiculous incorrect entries in the logs.

In light of this sloppy programming of firmware as well as the outsourced tech support, I no longer recommend SonicWall products.

Grrrrrrr.
