My LG DVD drive bought last August suddenly lunched and just chattered when I put in a dvd, could not read.
Contacted LG; they asked a few questions about the symptoms, had me email a scanned copy of my receipt, then emailed back a shipping label. I put it in a box, attached the label, dropped it off at a UPS store right down the road, and within 5 days had a new replacement sent to me.
So smooth and easy, and I didn't even have to pick up the shipping to return the defective unit.
I was pleasantly surprised that so big a company would make it so easy for what is really a low-end, inexpensive product.
I am now a fan.
