Re: While Supplies last item:595008x1 - VISIONEER 7100USB SCANNER

In regards to your Staples order placed on:06/01/05

Please be advised that due to the high demand and current promotion on the above
noted item, our
stock has been depleted and the quantity ordered will not be shipped. As this is
a "while supplies
last" item, we are not able to put it on backorder and please note that you have
not been billed for
it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We do offer other similar products at www.staples.com and in our catalogs that
you may find
suitable. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at
800-333-3330 and choose Option

I’m all fine and dandy they canceled my order, but Staples web site still says it's in stock (as of June 2nd 9:37).

Also, I check my account it still says my order is processing and will arrive on the 6th...

In conclusion, Staples’ needs to get their head in the game and update their site. Learn from Newegg guys, learn from Newegg.

HAHAHA! When I was phoning relatively local businesses shopping for a 6600GT, I called Staples. The person there had no idea what I was talking about since they said they have one for $100 CDN!

BAHAHAHA!

I went to the local Staples one day and asked the computer sales guy where the 10/100 PCI ethernet cards are? He said he was sorry, they don't carry those... they only have 10/100 LAN Adapters.

Gee what should I do here? I told the guy to give me a Linksys 10/100 LAN Adapter and I'll take it home and see if I can make it work for an ethernet card. Dumbass!

I only go to staples to buy photopaper. Their hardware and such is dissappointing, but compared to other local stores they have the best pricing on good quality paper.

I just purchased a 1 gig sandisc cruiser drive for $59 and a 250 gig maxtor diamond max drive for $107 at Staples. I have also recieved every rebate I submitted from them. I still purchase most stuff from newegg but you can't beat Staples closeout sales in store. They also have the lowest cost ink for my HP all in one.
