I've got a computer here for service that is infected with every piece of spyware known to man. And there's so many viruses on this thing, that I'm surprised the CDC hasn't gotten involved.

It's also got every piece of software that Norton tries to whore out right now, AV, firewall, SystemDoesntWork, the whole deal. And when I tried to check to see when it was last updated, it claimed it updated this morning.

Yet another shining example of how ineffective Norton software has become.

Oh, and 180Search Assistant and all you other pieces of scum, thanks for making people's PC's into pentagrams of evil so I have to spend hours cleaning your scum off. I hope you all serve some jail time serving as someones biatch.

I hate Norton and tell everyone I know to get something better like AVG 7.0, Adaware, and Spybot.

Erm. Adaware and Spybot are not better than Norton. If people are really interested in reading up on and picking out the best spyware, adware, virus detection programs, check out PC Magazines March issue. Some good stuff in that issue.

 CDC is closed for the weekend

The DOC is in the house to prescribe some medication that's an important adjunct to your infected PC.
At this point, I declare bio-warfare and suggest that you click on the following link for prevention and control...I've also developed interim recommendations on the use of antiviral medications for the 2005 PC influenza season.

Follow my Chemoprophylaxis and Treatment Guideline:

drop by here and grab what you need...

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/SecureXP.html

Run these programs once a month...now If you download porn, do it everyday. The next thing is to stop Hemorrhagic Fever and get rid of Norton. Then download AVG, as one had suggested, it's free. IMO it's the best defense followed by Kaspersky's Anti-Virus.

here's another important suggestion...browse through this page for additional tips.

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/OptimizeXP.html

My interim recommendations may be updated as more info on the supply of antiviral medications becomes available.
