Caveat Emptor (buyer beware)

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

There ain't no such thing as a free lulnch.

You get what you pay for.

I could go on and on and... But I think you get the point.

Most of these offers of a free this or a cheap that are scams or comeons, as in come on into the store and look at this really cheap toy, but sorry, just sold my last one, no how about this little toy, only a few bucks more and ...

You really have to do your homework when shopping online. Pay attention to time limits, shipping restrictions, new/refurbished(used) and all that other fine print.

I saw an ad somewhere, might have been Dell ( :( ) that was selling laptops for well under $1,000.

One place you might want to try is Walmart, surprisingly enough! They seem to carry good laptops for reasonable prices with lots of accessories available. I'm thinking of buying one, myself.

I hate dell more then anything in the world, but its a good place to go for laptops. I have the 5160 tweaked up and it runs great. Paid just over $1000 for it. I got my mom and 2 family members the inspiron 1000's because they didnt need anything more then the basic. Check em out and see what you think.
