I write here to vent my frustration at Windows Live. I have had an account with them for over 6 years, and recently, it has been compromised 4 times in the past three months. I have changed my password multiple times, and now, if I go through the process of resetting it again, I ultimately get to a page saying my account is blocked. I then can get to a page where it will email me a 9 digit (I think it's 9) code to reset the account. I have only one other email tied to Hotmail (as an alternate email thing) and I went through that about 6 tries before I gave up for the night. Now, I can't even get past that stupid "your account has been blocked" page, it forever loops back to, "we're sorry, we need you to log in again." I'm using Firefox 4 Portable, and AVG Internet 2011 is running strong. I don't know what to do, as I wouldn't mind getting back into my Hotmail, if only to retrieve some contacts and saved messages, and perhaps to navigate to the "close my account" page. I have Googled for a customer service department, but found many reports that Microshit offers no phone or email direct support for Hotmail. What is there to do? I know of the 365 day auto kill of the Windows Live ID, but that is not helpful to me. WHY THE HELL DOES MICROSOFT NOT HAVE A FUCKING LIVE PERSON (READ: PHONE NUMBER TO GET HELP) TEAM TO HELP WITH ONE OF THEIR PRODUCTS?
