I usually love to go into their stores, but I don't think I'll ever buy online from them ever again. First they take my order, then let the payment sit @ "pending" for 2 days, then claim that they shipped it out the previous day from whence they took the payment out; and now to top it off, even though they did ship it, they can't give me an estimated or expected delivery date and DHL and USPS aren't in full communication about it.

Oh, and they refused to let me cancel my order the day after I placed it, when they sent me an email stating I could, if I wanted to, due to a problem with their stock; when they sent me the email explaining as to why I cannot cancel, it says that they've already shipped it out, even though it still said they hadn't even taken the money out yet.

My advice, don't purchase from B&N online, they can't get their stuff straight and they use crappy shipping services.

Whenever I order from B&N, I never bother with a website or credit card.

I phone my local store, talk with a living, breathing human, and ask if it's in stock. If it is, I ask them to hold it for me. If it's not in stock, I order it and ask that my book be shipped there for pickup. When it arrives, they call me. I walk in, pay cash, walk out. No extra fees, not even for shipping.

Whenever I've had to cancel an order, even after it's arrived, they just say "no problem".

I would've done the same thing, but what I ordered was only available online and had no in-store pickup option. Bastahds.

It's ok bro, like u said, u didn't know. I just now took their customer service satisfaction survey, they failed miserably.
