Edit: I placed an order for myself for a dell outlet machine, it arrived perfectly and was exactly as stated. If you are reading this, I think it is a solid investment and worth the risk if you find a good deal.



Even though their stuff says "certified refurbished", I do not think they look at the stuff.

My parents purchased a refurbished laptop from them for a very competitive price. It arrived quickly, but artifacts right when you turn it on all the way through the boot process.

It happens right when you turn on the computer, so I doubt it is the graphics.


Dell did agree to do a refund, after talking to them for about an hour and a half.

Is this the first trial of Dell outlet? If so, stuff it a bit. If it's your 3rd time getting burned, then it belongs here.

Your parents ordered this. Since you took full control of this, You got a refund.

Pay attention to FaceBook and you get my calls to tech support, when needed. 2 hrs here for the latest. 3 Hrs, for the Dawg. Now I can't defend that!

Go to Dell, put your hand on their neck, and say "look at it...make it perfect!" It puts the lotion on it's skin dude.

Because the computer is supposed to be refurbished dude. Refurbished means it was tested and repaired. This system was not tested and was not repaired. How do I know? It artifacted out of the box right when you turned it on.

And honestly, the dog is long dead. This post is here just to warn people about the possibilities of getting something broken. I'm not expecting anyone to do anything, it's over, or so I hope.
