I have a HP G60 Laptop
It has two ramsticks:

Size 2048 MBytes
Manufacturer A-Data Technology
Max Bandwidth PC2-6400 (400 MHz)

Size 1024 MBytes
Manufacturer Samsung
Max Bandwidth PC2-5300 (333 MHz)

Basically it 2 different sized sticks from 2 different companies working on 2 different timeings.
My laptop's average temperature is 60C

I used to think HP was good but this is just wrong
Why would they do this?

I suspect they ran out of PC5300 and installed PC6400 instead which would be providing better ram. As for the temperature being 60C this ram would not be the cause.

the faster memory will slow down to match the slower memory, they will run the same speed.
