Maximum PC

So I got an X-fi Xtreme Gamer for Christmas 2.5 years ago, and was very disappointed with the sound quality. Just didn't impress me. To be fair, at the time all I was using was mediocre stereo speakers and a USB headset, so nothing really capable of appreciating the sound quality. Recently I got a Tritton AX 720 headset and was blown away by the sound quality. I love the things and can't imagine living without them now. Anyway, I recently got two 4870 cards in CF, and this took up my sound card slot. Now I am really noticing the short comings of onboard sound. I thought sound cards had become obsolete, but I realize how wrong I was now. I dearly miss having my Xtreme Gamer, and Creative, you now have another believer. Thankfully, when I go back to school in the fall, I can ditch the wireless card and plug my sound card back in! So thank you Creative for an outstanding product, even if I am just realizing it now.

Eh why not ditch the wireless card and go to a usb wireless adapter?

well I head back to school in 1.5 months, then I will never need a wireless adapter again, just not worth it.
