i wish i could say there's merely a "disturbance in the force" with your business communication, but i can't. it's more like a BIG FUCKING HOLE! but hey, it's like totally cool cause I'm about to make history :p



WELL WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?

someone you should be paying very close attention to. i'm an IT consultant, a hardware distributor, I own a few computer shops and I'm a 3-time world karate champion.
my beef with you is that most all of my customers want upgrades- one would *THINK* microsoft could mail you a starter package and make it easy as possible for techs to resell windows but noooooooo, Microp0rk wants me to read pages and pages of retarded documentation that no one (at least not me) has time for.
If you care about your sales, YOU NEED to have a phone number or live chat with someone who can simplify this b.s. 
we (and i speak for most techs) simply want to know HOW MUCH we can get windows for and HOW MUCH we can sell it for. you're prolly losing millions and millions of dollars from unlicensed installs because no one has the time for all this, I'm writing on a fucking forum cause I can't get nobody on the phone! and for what? to try to resell your shit for you??? LOL! Whoever's responsible for this mess is fucking fired.

ok, I'll chill but here's my list of demands:

  1. you give us tech 1 single disk.
    each time we install Windows, it takes you an internet site where you can settle up with PayPal or Google Checkout. End of story.

    
It's that simple. nobody's gonna take any stupid classes to install windows or sign a 20 page agreement to do YOU A FAVOR and sell your shit, when in reality, no one needs it. I solve 1/2 of my Windows issues by convincing my customers to buy a Mac from me- and that's real shit.
  2. Fix your goddamn site. 

    for such a giant corporation, you guys are some of the biggest goofballs on the net. you develop software in a language that 99.9% of the population can't understand so i know you're smart, but that doesn't mean it's ok to write your docs in Greek! people don't understand it. Stop wasting people's time and make it user friendly because we all know there's no pot of gold at the end of your rainbow anyway. 
Look... I don't want to say... I'm NOT gonna say "Microsoft.com is the Worst Website EVER!" when you know it, I know it and the whole world knows it... I refuse to say it. seriously, get it together. It needs a make over. Better yet, just tear it down- it's useless. 
  3. 1337.microsoft.com

    aside from microsoft.com being ugly and hard to navigate, every tech i've ever known laughs at the thought of using the Microsoft website. we're techs, we DO understand it and through this understanding comes an awareness that there is NOTHING USEFUL ON THE SITE! So enough with all that "Is your computer plugged in? If 'Yes', click Continue" crap. cut that out and give us the real shit. We want a section just for techs. we want documents written in tech talk and we want hotfixes. we want the world biggest download section. we want it here and we want it now. 


I'm done. You can go back to your sewing or whatever the hell you guys do for fun around there.

to actually address the problem though, reselling is a waste of time. I've tried it, and the prices suck. It's actually a tad cheaper to buy OEM copies of Windows off newegg and use those on any builds. Obviously you can't directly resell that stuff, but... ehh, that's a waste of time too.
