Their phone number is: 1-800-MICROSOFT

Tell them the problem and you should get transferred around a bit.

I will second verizon's desire to jerk around rural areas. However, mine is on their wireless phone service in general. I, too, live in a rural area. If I climb up on my rooftop, extend both arms and one leg just so, then I can get enough signal to get a txt to go through. Voice calls will drop after only a few seconds....if you can get one through. I live in a town of 300people, but we're next to an interstate that gets 1000+cars a day in each direction. Of course Verizon doesn't care about those travelers who are being stuck in a dead zone when their vehicle breaks down or they have an accident and need emergency services. Regardless of how many times we complain to them about the lack of service, their standard answer is: "There just aren't enough paying customers in the area to justify putting up a tower in the area. Oh, but you can buy a device that plugs into the USB port on your computer and gives you access through your broadband internet connection for only $250. What's that, sir? No, we don't provide broadband or any other wired services in your area."

Thank goodness for a local telephone cooperative. I have unlimited DSL.

Hey Verizon commercial geek - can you hear me now? Huh? Can you?
