Today, I got a request for renewal for Maximum PC. Since I just renewed it I was a little sceptical. This came from Orbital Publishing Group with a Reno, NV address. The wild thing was the price they were charging. $99.95 for a two year subscription. Pretty expensive, I thought. $50.00 per year. Payment was to mailed to Mail processing Department, 216 Lemmon Dr. #357, Reno NV, 89506-8701. Has anyone else received this mailing?

It's a scam, this has been a problem with all Future publications for a while now. The important thing is not to send anything back to those guys.

What strikes me weird in all of this, is the fact the bill came enclosed with the magazine in the poly bag. I just ignored it seeing as i'm only on my second issue after my renewal. And with that envelope it's a dead ringer for the actual MPC billing envelope. Just check online and you will see when your subscription will be ending.
