How do I know ? I have several items saved on different wish lists. I saw an increase from $5 to 10 on pretty much all my saved items. Watch this coming Friday they're all coming back to their regular prices and fools are going to jump in.

Yeah, I've realized this in the HD5850 GPUs, when I got mine, it was at its regular $260 price tag, then a week or two later, they are just around the $300 price tag, and yesterday, they were up to $310. Wonder what Black Friday's gonna be like now. Hmm...

usually neweggs pricing schemes work based of a supply demand formula (which is why DVD burners never stay the same)

but they have to stay within a certain range, however when there is high demand and chronic shortages (like with the 5800 series) they will jack up prices because people will pay that price.

really, you should just be glad for newegg's prices period and not whine about a little hike. Or you could get everything from best buy.

I wouldn't just stab Newegg for this known tactic. That's the perfect move in order to drop the price in a week and have a big "20% off" tag on it and still be legal. Ya just finally caught it on the wind-up.

If it's listed at $400, you may even see "200 percent weekend. Double!the price listed. End up not saving a damned thing and it's $800 once you show up when it was $780 normally. Anyway to juice the books and look like a big winner on Black Friday. Share Holders aren't really that wise ya know, and this is for them.

Yeah, I bet that those Intel SSDs that come in tomorrow are probably gonna be north of the $300 mark. Grrr...I shouldn't have waited until now on an SSD, since they seem to be selling out all over the place on Newegg. Not just the X-25M, but the Corsair P Series SSDs seem to be rather in demand too.
