I do blame myself. It was more of an impulse buy than anything else. I've decided to keep it since it is still a very capable media player and I still like it for what it can do on the web. And this new revelation is what is keeping me from returning it and buying a newer generation ipod, because in a year or so I'll be shit out of luck again.
