Does Newegg have some sort of page count monitoring software in play? I'm a bit PO'd about how their prices change without notice.

Last night around 10pm, a friend and I are looking closely at a Dell Vostro 260mt that's on sale for $379.99 and free shipping, and limit 5 per customer.

Now, 12 hours later, it's $409.99 and $4.99 shipping, with no apparent limit to the number you can buy! Grrrrrrrr! What's it going to cost tonight or tomorrow morning?

Last year, I put together an order and my motherboard price was $54. By the time I hit "buy now" it had gone up to $59! Rat finks.

I think somewhere in their terms of agreement they can change the price without notice.

Oh, of course, I knew that. I just never realized how often they'd be doing it. <grumble bitch gripe>

There are some other things that NewEgg can do "without notice". The other week, I bought a Cherry Gentix illuminated optical mouse which was my first product from them. My order went through and I managed to get mine, however... the next day, and I'm not lying here either, they said this mouse was out of stock! Then they went further to say the item is discontinued! The key here is to pay close attention and keep shopping for Dell Vostro laptops within the $370 range if you're uncomfortable about NewEgg's unexpected price change, availability of items on hand, or anything else they can easily do without notice that will throw everyone off! Trust me.

EDIT: I checked your link, and NewEgg said the price is $399.99 (as of 11:55PM EST 12/06/12) at this point, but they can still change it, I mean, that's who they are, I betcha :P

it may have been included in one of their 24 hour specials, which usually end at midnight. I have been getting 1 or 2 emails a day from egg about sales.
