I'm using this guide to rip my DVD library.

I just purchased A new Vizio 37" XVT, whcih has a USB port so I can load my movies up on a hard drive and play them directly.

I tried it out with Indiana Jones 4 and the picture is amazing - but everything seems to be moving faster than normal. Not by a lot, just enough to be disconcerting. I can't quite tell if it's the amazing picture clarity throwing my brain off ( I went from a 19" standard tube TV from the 1990's ) or if there is something about the rip I did wrong.

Anyone have something similar happen?

to test if it's too fast or just your eyes seeing a clearer image... you might want to try just playing one of the movies on a good dvd player and see if you get the same reaction... ripped dvd movies no matter what you watch it on or how you play it are not better copies..... you get the same amount of info streaming to the tv.... it's the better and bigger tv that's wowing you.... try a bluray movie in there and then you'll see amazing....
