I am not a subscriber but I buy the magazine each and every month.
Rig of the month, I think this one single part of the magazine is getting old and annoying. There are many other usefull things that can printed on that page instead. Put like a "this just in" last minute review on something or anything.
I read the very first page to the very last page of each and every issue and for God's sake I cannot take one more month of ROTM.
Cut, Copy, Past: Dec. issue, page 84 second column: starts> "The Twister's foundations is an MSI K8T800 A8V Deluxe mobo....", but it is correct in the "Under The Hood" part, it's an ASUS.

Don't mean to start anything, but I too like the Rig of the Month articles.

Your "This Just In" last minute review on something or anything sounds like a good idea. Perhaps they can incorporate the idea in the mag. However, I think the ROTM should stay.

We've been doing it a long time, no doubt, but all signs point to the fact that it's very popular with readers.

I like looking at what other people have done to their systems. So does everybody I know who actually reads the mag. If a particular ROTM doesn't grab my eye, I just don't read about it.

'This just in' sort of defeats Maximum PC, IMO. I read this mag for the DEPTH of reviews, not a hasty take-a-quick-look-and-run. Maybe a quick line or two about upcoming reviews? Waitaminute...

I like Rig of the Month. It's interesting to see just how creative people can get with thier modding. We've moved way beyond simple neon light mods. Don't have my Jan. issue yet, but in Dec. it featured a newspaper machine of all things. While I wouldn't do it for myself, it had a certain neato factor that I enjoyed reading about it.

I would like to see a "Rig of the Year" in the December issue or something - highlight the best of the best. I think they did it once, but it would be cool to see.

well...if the chicks cute then cool..

no, I meant why buy it every month but not subscribe?

It's what $12 a year to subscribe, but $108 a year buying off the newstand..I can see MAYBE if you're not a fithful reader picking it up here and there, but if you buy it every month it seems kind of crazy....

Getting rid ot the ROTM would be like taking the last page of a 4x4 magazine out that hosts the reader's pictures that were submitted after they totalled their trucks somehow. I vote Meh.
