Every year, typically a month after Dream Machine, they do a Lean Machine or Budget PC Showdown...

But if they did cheap machines all the time, they'd have to change their name to PC World... oh, that's taken already. ;)

We're trying to do a new build at least every 6 weeks or so on the website. It's kind of a lot of work, but the next one is going to be $500, I think.

I second the SP2309W! It seems to be getting good news.... but it's a TN Panel. Would be nice to know what the sharp critics at MPC think!

Killer Xeno Ultra

I would like to see this tested to find out if it is this anything to get excited about or is a waste of money?

We've got one coming for the next issue. I'll post the review online as soon as I'm done with it.

That's the entire point of a review. If the product isn't better than what's soldered on your motherboard, then there's no reason to spend money on it.

Oh, I didn't mean to sound like I doubt you guys would do a thorough review. I look forward to reading it.

I'd like to see a netbook round up in the near future, preferably most current models, rather then last year models. thanks.

+1000000 for this.

Perhaps a few of the newer 12" netbooks that are coming out. And maybe a performance benchmark between the Intel Atom (both single and dual core versions), the Athlon Neo, and the new Via Nano. I'd also like to see how these processors match up in terms of battery life.

EDIT: Benchmark firefox page load times perhaps. Benchmark stuff that netbook users care about, that would be useful information for people looking to purchase a new netbook.

I'd love to see how some of the more expensive netbooks with discrete graphics stack up against each other too.
