What would you rate a Apple G5. I know you guys said they made "wussy computers" and I agree, but I am just curious about how good it would do.

Um, sorry I should've put this in a different section. I guess what I meant to say was I think that even if you don't like Apples, you should still rate them in your magazine...but I still would like to know what you'd rate it...

Well, here's my take:

The magazine is called Maximum PC. Which means for the most part theyll be comparing PC parts, PC makers, PC games, PC apps, PC problems, etc etc etc.

Therefore, IMO, its rather hard for them to rate an Apple since Apples and PCs cater to different users.

MPC has looked at Apples before. It would be nice of them to compare a newr G5 to thier Orange Peel SS machine they made last month. They could call it "Apples and Oranges".

The Oranges likely come out on top.

MPC has mainly limited Mac stuff to perriferals and they do give them positive reviews when the deserve it. I don't think MPC can fairly judge Mac PC's though and thus they avoid it. Its also a bit much to ask from them. It would require a Mac person on staff (possibly more than one) for them to include Mac stuff very often. It would also change thier focus away from what they at least know works (x86 platform focus).
