I don't believe they have that article online, search results don't yield anything. They broke it down into three pricing categories:

512MB (2x256) PC3200 Generic - $50

Generic 350W PSU - $10
80GB WD 7200rpm SE - $55
Lite-On 40x CD-R/RW - $30
80mm case fan - $5
WinXP Home OEM - $95
TOTAL = $500

$1,000 Midrange Monster
Albatron K8X800 - $100
Athlon 64 3000 - $210
1GB Crucial PC3200 (2x512) - $180
Antec Lanboy - $80
Seagate 200GB 8mb - $135
Radeon 9800 128mb - $140
4x Toshiba SD-5112 DVD - $60
WinXP Home - $95
TOTAL = $1,000

$1,500 Beelzebox
P4 3.2GHz 800fsb - $270
Chaintech 9CJS - $155
1GB Crucial PC3200 (2x512) - $180
CaseEdge Diabolic w/ 420W PSU - $130
2 WD Raptors 36G - $220
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb - $200
Plextor PX-708A 8X dual format DVD-R/RW - $160
Audigy 2 - $75

Those are the specs they used, taken from May 2004. Prices, of course, will have changed by now.

There are also reviews of the case on google if you should be so inclined.

As for the RAM, yes, welcome to the wonderful world of volatile chip prices! :)
