I just got my September issue of Maximum PC today and as i looked thru the "Case Studies" article, i noticed the absence of Lian-Li cases. Maximum PC hasn't reviewed any of their cases and this is the second time they had a case round up without a Lian-Li case. I'm hoping to see a review soon.

From what I have read MaxPC has basically written them of as "old school". They really haven't had any dynamic design changes in a while. but they are still the best overall imo.

As far as I know, we tried to get some in but weren't able to. They are a company that is very difficult to get ahold of, to put it mildly.

Hmm. Sounds like Allied. I tried to get ahold of them for a print article for an Allied 500W power supply review. Nearly impossible. Took me one week of calling 3 times a day at 2 hour intervals during thier business hours. Foxconn though was very easy. Ironically, lowly PC chips was also easy to get ahold of. Stunningly, PC chips now offers a 3 year warranty on select models of SIS mainboards and they just started using Japanese Rubycon caps. They are still PC Chips though.

I have a contact here in Toronto that I was going to use for future modding articles with Will that would donate parts, Lian Li's included for review (and a nice mention).

Deal with the distributor's if the company is hard to deal with.

Distributors can be a pain in the ass. We'll just buy the products if it's that vital to get in for review.

What I meant is to get a trusted source retailer at a discount or for free.
