I am seeing more and more magazines being archived on the net on different sites. Sometimes they are just a year or two, sometimes complete collections. Some are located on personal/small websites. Other collections are on organized archiving sites like archive.org

What is Maximum PC's stand on old issues including CD-Rom Today, Boot, and majority of Maximum PC(almost complete) being made available for such archiving by 3rd parties?

I certainly hope they are amenable to such. I would like to unload my collection and still have access to the old collection.

Also, what about the included CDs? Can they be archived.

And since we are talking the same company, how about PC Gamer and their CDs.

I would really like to see them do this, I know they have the complete collections available and most likely in digital form already as well. If they don't mind, it would be easy to contribute things like the CDs to Archive.org, we could just rip an ISO.

By the way, if you have a physical collection you are thinking to get rid of at any point, PLEASE let me know. I'm trying to complete my collection and have been missing a few key issues for about the past 5-6 years (searching). Mainly the earliest Boot issues, although I have a few issues of #1.

Thanks.
