My subscription suddenly expired (my bad)... I can't find $12 option (one without CD) anymore :( Are the old good days gone?

There's another thread here that addresses this.

Go on down to your Barnes and Noble or other bookstore/newsstand of choice and pick a sub card out of a MaxPC on the shelf.

Or better yet, buy a copy, and take it home and THEN take the sub card out and use it :)

Gotcha! Found that thread :) thanks.
I didn't see $12 option on the card, I must be blind :) I'll just call that 1-800 number

I just looked at the cards and it's the CD version...

I wish they would put a card in for the non-CD version... It would be so much easier for people to just fill it out, and as someone said in the other thread, the CD's getting a little outdated now, since they can only fit one demo and some utilities on it now (I remember when game demos were 20MB or so, and you could fit ten on the CD and still have room for all kinds of other stuff... ).

I just wish there were an easier way than having to call them for it.

There is, go through a magazine subscription service as I linked in the other thread.
