Subscriber from back in the boot days!

With the growing capabilities on todays GPU's such as PhysX or video encoding, is there any benchmarks that quantify that type of performance?

Could such a benchmark be added to the video card reviews? Maybe a vReveal or Premiere timing run?

I wouldn't mind MaxPC to add such a benchmarking for video encoding performance as well, but premiere wouldn't be a good choice since its only slated for CUDA and very very obscure on what will work or won't work to get the encoding to play nice with your CUDA enabled GPU. I donno why they lack gpu accelerated encoding with AME for batch operations; plus gpu accelerated functions is limited to only a few filters and tools, not exactly a good benchmark.

Sony Vegas Pro 11 is OpenCL supported so that could be used as a good benchmarking tool, but it doesn't support SLI/xFire at the moment, so that could limit some of the testing on the machines they typically review.
