OOooooo. You have the teensy leetle touchscreen one.
Why not just mount it on your glasses and add a camera?
HUD and night vision in one!

Okay. How about just implanting an equivalent screen in your retina? She wouldn't even notice!

No, that's just the display. The touchscreen and a secondary display go under a flap in your arm. The flap is then closed. You tap your arm, and the screen activates. If the procedure is done right, then you don't see it when it's off, and it will work juuuust fine. :)

Plz.... try to count the amount of references I pulled in my posts... Star wars got nothing on king kong... or so says Denzel Washington.

I was also referencing a book you probably never read. Of course, also three different Star Trek episodes.
Weapons are so much cooler when they use plasma, don't you think?
As for Denzel Washington,

No.

plasma might be cool and have greater shield penetrating power, but their range is lack luster. Give me a spinfusor any day for the week.

How about a neutrino beam? It could be accelerated faster than light, and the relativistic properties of such a system would give it a nearly unlimited coherency. Also, the neutrino's effect on subspace would cause massive space/time ruptures in the target.
See Voyager: Season 1, the episode where they use a neutrino beam to rupture a black hole's event horizon.

Plasma coherency is mainly affected by atmosphere and gravitational forces. If you go for a thinner but longer bolt, the increased energy required to thin the bolt would also increase the range considerably. And let's not forget the good, old-fashioned A-bomb, which could be teleported into the inside of the opposing vessel, or sent in via the sub-space rift caused by the neutrino beam.

A neutrino beam isn't a weapon system. Also they used a Dekyon beam to open the fissure.

If you want some serious power you are talking about the Tricobalt or Isolytic based weapons systems, which are banned by the Federation. Also Multikinetic neutronic mines were used in season 4 of voyager.

While it is not a normal weapon, the subspace distortions Neutrino beams cause could be lethal.
And VOY Season 1 Episode 1, Voyager fired two Tricobalt devices at the alien space station. I somehow doubt that they were illegal at that time.
Three proton torps (SW, not ST) would work.

yes, that's why it was a fishy story for a dreadnought class ship of storing illegal weapons. Hinting at the possibility that Voyager had an alternative mission that only the Captain knew. Think Omega mission. This was re-lived with season 6, episode 9 as 7 of 9 relayed it as a conspiracy.

I'm still waiting for season 2 to get in. I've only watched season 1, and that was a week ago. While I wait, I'm watching TNG Season 1.

I've got Voyager, TNG, DS9 and even Enterprise (with archer) on dvd. Re-watched all of the episodes in the past few months, Along with Breaking Bad, How I meet your mother, Two and a half Men, and Modern Family. I really want to see Mad Men, but I've got a few other shows in my Que first.
